My name is Taylor, I am an Alaskan in search of a career in 3D entertainment. I do what I love and I love what I do!
Hello!
I found your site by chance, I was googling info about Think Tank you see…
Anyway, I’m actually trying to apply for the October semester (just sent my portfolio) and I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on the school…. So far I’ve heard great stuff, I’ve actually even talked to one of the students there (Adrian Rivera, maybe you know him?) but since I was lucky enough to find your site, I might as well take the opportunity and get a second opinion.
I’d appreciate your help,
Thanks.
Taylor,
Your work is pretty impressive. I appreciate you documenting your journey through the process of learning 3D and game design. I believe it will be inspirational to others who might want to follow your foot steps.
Keep up the great work.
Sean
Thank you Sean, I appreciate the kind words! I’ll keep documenting and hope people keep following along
Hi. You have some nice 3D stuff here! I love low poly modeling; people always think that low poly is easier to make then high poly, but actually there is more work with low poly model then high poly (to make low poly look good).
Keep up good work,
Best regards,
Dejan
Well Thanks! ![]()
And its true, there a great deal of work and technical knowledge is needed to make low-poly stuff!
Hey there! It’s great to see a bit into how Think Tank works and how the students do, I’m planning on applying there at the end of March. I’m a bit worried about my application, my portfolio is mostly just 2d photoshop stuff like http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/2064/dragongryphon2nogirlrep.jpg
I was wondering if that’s acceptable, and if you had any tips for my application? It would be really nice if you could email me
Heya Taylor,
Great work on your reel Taylor! You’ve set an awesome benchmark, and next time I’m thinking about how something will look, I’ll take a look through some of your work and see how you’ve tackled it. Congrats!
